THE GUARDIAN TOURNAMENT
SYNOPSIS
Dalton Teban lives in a world where magic is part of daily life and four other worlds connect to his own. From a young age, Dalton trained to be a Guardian, an elite investigator of magical crimes throughout the five realms and worked for years under the Dimension Protection Council. In a terrifying announcement, the council reveals that the dragon seal holding their five worlds in place has been fractured, causing the realms to collide, warping time and destroying lives in all realms. Worried that some Guardians were responsible for the fracture in the seal, the council reinstates the controversial Guardian Tournament and places Dalton as the leader of a team meant to conduct covert investigations under the guise of the tournament to find a culprit. But Dalton learns quickly that this is not a new enemy, and this mission had already been failed forty years previous. Dalton and his team are soon trapped in a world filled with corruption that goes back centuries, and fate may be playing a greater role in Dalton's participation in the tournament than he is prepared to believe.
