SYNOPSIS

With the Roadside Paradise troupe taking a break between circuits, Athena finally gets a chance to visit Tarquin, the home of the deity family and the safe haven for many who must escape the clutches of the Guild of the Red Dragon. But the rest is short-lived as V and Athena travel to DeRidder, Louisiana—Athena's hometown. As they investigate the town further and what happened during Athena's younger years there, both V and Athena begin to question whether there is a more nefarious plot occurring that has less to do with Katrina and more to do with Athena herself. But during their search for answers, Donovan is carefully laying a trap not only for V, but for everyone in Tarquin.
